Jewel Named Exclusive Licensing Agency for the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum

Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum

FOR RELEASE AT LICENSING EXPO Atlanta, GA – [May, 2026] – Jewel Branding & Licensing is pleased to announce that it has been appointed as the exclusive licensing agency for the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum, including the iconic Hatch Show Print, a letterpress print shop owned and operated by the museum. Located in downtown Nashville, the nonprofit museum has been called the “Smithsonian of country music,” celebrated for its broad cultural impact, educational mission, and unrivaled collection of historically important artifacts related to country music. Through this partnership, Jewel will develop and manage strategic licensing programs across key product categories, bringing the rich heritage and visual legacy of the institution and print shop to a broader consumer audience.

Hatch Show Print, which is located within the musuem, is one of America’s oldest working letterpress print shops. Since 1879, Hatch Show Print has played a significant role in shaping the visual language of Music City, and for much of the twentieth century its posters served as a leading advertising medium for Southern entertainment and music. Its distinctive aesthetic remains one of the most recognizable and beloved in American design and includes a vast archive of poster art, wood type, and imagery.

“The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is one of America’s most iconic cultural institutions, synonymous with the history, heart, and soul of country music,” said Julie Newman, Founder and CEO of Jewel. “And with Hatch Show Print’s unparalleled design legacy spanning nearly 150 years, the licensing opportunities for both entities are truly exciting.”

About Hatch Show Print

Founded by brothers Charles and Herbert Hatch, Hatch Show Print opened in Nashville in 1879. For much of the 20th century, the shop’s vibrant posters served as a leading advertising medium for Southern entertainment. Hatch Show Print produced posters for many members of the Grand Ole Opry such as Bill Monroe, Minnie Pearl and Ernest Tubb, as well as a variety of performers from across the musical spectrum, including Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley and Bessie Smith. Thousands of posters and billboard-size advertisements were printed for traveling vaudeville and minstrel shows, circuses and carnivals across the country. In 1992, Hatch Show Print became property of the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum. Today, Hatch Show Print is a thriving letterpress poster and design shop located within the museum. The shop creates and prints 600 to 700 posters every year for clients ranging from Gillian Welch, Guns N’ Roses, Willie Nelson and Yola to organizations such as the NFL, Taschen Books and the U.S. Postal Service.
