Samira Henley
VP of Brand Licensing
Samira brings over 20 years of experience in global brand licensing and management across cultural institutions, lifestyle, design, entertainment, charitable, and fashion brands. She is known for her strategic, entrepreneurial approach and her ability to translate rich brand stories into thoughtful, commercially successful licensing programs.
Samira manages Jewel’s international licensing business and oversees key institutional and cause-related client accounts, with a particular focus on cultural institutions and lifestyle brands. Her expertise spans conceptualizing and executing innovative licensing and marketing strategies, building brand equity, growing revenue, negotiating complex deals, and cultivating brand-aligned partnerships across a wide range of product categories.
Previously, Samira worked at CMG Worldwide, where she represented iconic brands including the estates of Marilyn Monroe and James Dean, as well as corporate brands such as I [heart] NY. She also held roles at Trunk Archive, representing and licensing the work of world-renowned photographers including Herb Ritts, Patrick Demarchelier, and Bruce Weber.
Throughout her career, Samira has built impactful licensing, promotional, and direct-to-retail programs with leading global brands including Williams Sonoma, Montblanc, Dolce & Gabbana, Zara, Taschen, and Estée Lauder, among others.
Samira holds an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and a BA in Marketing from the University of Indianapolis.
