President
Ilana brings over 20 years of dynamic leadership in branding and licensing, with a proven track record of building and managing some of the world’s most recognizable brands. As President of Jewel, she leads with a strategic vision and deep understanding of how to grow brands through thoughtful licensing partnerships.
Ilana launched her career at Beanstalk in New York, where she managed licensing programs for iconic names like McDonald’s, Stride Rite, Little Tikes, Jim Beam, and The Andy Warhol Foundation. In 2002, she shifted to the retail side at The Home Depot, managing licensing efforts that connected brands with consumers in a new and impactful way.
Her expertise deepened at Nancy Bailey & Associates starting in 2004, where she spearheaded brand extension licensing for major clients including Procter & Gamble, Del Monte, Crayola, and Frito-Lay. Returning to Beanstalk in 2010 as Director of Brand Management, Ilana oversaw licensing for household favorites such as Coppertone, Nesquik, Frigidaire, Bigelow Tea, and Travelocity.com, further solidifying her reputation as a versatile and results-driven leader.
Since joining Jewel in 2013, Ilana has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth and elevating its portfolio, blending strategic insight with a passion for cultivating partnerships that resonate in the marketplace.
Ilana is also co-owner of the Rachael Hale Brand and CMO of Artonomo, a cutting-edge portfolio management platform empowering creators globally to showcase their work. She has been a featured speaker at Licensing International events and appeared on MSNBC’s, Your Business, speaking about licensing. She is also contributor to the book, Self Made Boss, a guide for entrepreneurs and small businesses.
