The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum is the world’s foremost institution dedicated to preserving and celebrating country music. Located in the heart of downtown Nashville, the Museum has been called the “Smithsonian of country music” — celebrated for its sweeping cultural impact, unrivaled collections, and deep educational mission. In 2024, President Biden awarded the Museum the National Medal of Arts, the highest honor the United States government bestows upon arts institutions, recognizing its work preserving history, honoring the giants of the genre, and inspiring future generations.
The Museum’s licensing program channels the spirit, stories, and iconic imagery of one of America’s most beloved art forms into products that connect consumers to country music’s living legacy — from its folk roots to today’s chart-toppers.
Chartered in Tennessee in 1964 and first opened in 1967, the Museum today occupies a 350,000-square-foot landmark in downtown Nashville. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, it collects, preserves, and interprets the evolving history and traditions of country music — a genre that touches tens of millions of lives across generations and demographics. Its licensing program translates this cultural authority into beautifully designed, mission-driven products.

The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum offers licensees access to one of the most recognized and emotionally resonant cultural brands in American music. With an archive spanning more than a century of country music history — from the earliest folk recordings to contemporary icons — the program provides an unparalleled creative asset library for product development across multiple categories and markets.
