The New York Botanical Garden Grows into the Home

The New York Botanical Garden, distinguished by the beauty and significance of its historic landscapes, gardens, and collections, has partnered with Keeco, a leading home textiles manufacturer, to develop a licensed line of bedding and bath products leveraging The New York Botanical Garden’s iconic name and collections.

Keeco will debut the bedding collection at the New York Home Textiles Market in September, where it will be on display in their showroom at 295 Fifth Avenue, 8th Floor, Suite 820. For the initial launch of the line, it will include a full assortment of linens for the bedroom, including quilts, duvets, and comforter sets with coordinating decorative pillows. The New York Botanical Garden’s unparalleled collection of original botanical artwork was the inspiration for the collection.

“We’re thrilled to be launching The New York Botanical Garden Collection and have created an assortment that appeals to a wide customer base ranging from traditional to contemporary,” said Mariam Shariati, VP Design & Product Development, Keeco. “The New York Botanical Garden’s archives inspired us to develop a collection with rich and authentic colors that are derived from nature.”

“We are delighted to be working with Keeco to further extend The New York Botanical Garden into the home with a stunning, high-quality collection of bedding that will make a beautiful statement in any bedroom,” said Richard Pickett, Vice President for Retail and Business Development at The New York Botanical Garden. “We’re excited to give consumers around the country the opportunity to experience The New York Botanical Garden first-hand.”

The New York Botanical Garden bedding collection will be available in spring 2014 and will complement the existing line of rugs by Mohawk, wall art by Metcolors and stationery and home décor by Caspari. The partnership was brokered by Jewel Branding & Licensing, the licensing agency for The New York Botanical Garden.
