Shell Rummel Paints a Picture in Home

Shell Rummel with her delicate, serene and sophisticated designs has used her painterly hand in bedding and bath. Introducing new collections from Bacova in bath and Ivy Hill Home in bedding this September, Shell is creating works of art for the home.

Shell Rummel is an established Fine Artist whose watercolor artwork has been collected by thousands of private and corporate art patrons both within the US and abroad since 1999. Her early art career focused on gallery exhibition, and Juried art shows where she won the prestigious Urquhart Award. Shell’s focus prior to launching her home designs has been creating beautiful and timeless products for the wedding and Judaic specialty niche markets since 2000. Her designs are among some of the most sought after and highly collected within the industry. Additionally, Shell’s artwork has been featured in national publications such as Martha Stewart Weddings, The New York Times and Jewish Woman Magazine.

Bacova will debut the Nouveau Chic and Beautifully Illuminated collections at the New York Home Textiles Market in September, where it will be on display in their showroom at 295 Fifth Avenue. Both collections are comprised of Shell’s original, award winning, watercolor and ink designs.

Ivy Hill Home is launching coordinating Bedding lines in Nouveau Chic and Beautifully Illuminated as well as releasing Serendipity. “We’re thrilled to be working with Shell Rummel and her beautiful fine art pieces to bring a stunning look to quilts and decorative pillows that appeals to a wide customer base ranging from traditional to contemporary,” said Ed Crowe, CEO, Ivy Hill Home. “It is a pleasure to be working with Ivy Hill Home and Bacova to further extend The Shell Rummel brand. They have expertly taken my fine art designs and created stunning, high-quality product lines that are truly works of art,” said Shell Rummel.

The Shell Rummel bedding and bath collections will be available in spring 2014 and will complement the existing line of fabrics by Blend, wall art by Metcolors and stationery and home décor by Pictura. The partnership was brokered by Jewel Branding & Licensing, the licensing agency for Shell Rummel.
