Always an Artist
In her hometown of Columbus, Ohio Jacque grew-up always knowing that she was an artist. At the tender age of 3 years old she had her first art studio under the family dining room table where she loved to draw plants, animals, patterns, textures, and fashion which still influences her art and designs today. By the age of fifteen she began winning scholarships to the Columbus College of Art and Design. After high school graduation Jacque would go on to receive a scholarship, to the same college, where she continued her education and received a BFA in fashion design and retail advertising.
Jacque started her 25-year art career freelancing as a fashion designer and fashion illustrator. Jacque then took a turn in her career when she accepted a position with Walt Disney Animation Studios in Orlando Florida where she worked as an animator. Her film credits include: “Mulan”, “Tarzan”, “Lilo and Stitch”, “Brother Bear”, and “Princess and The Frog”.
After spending almost a decade working on feature films, Jacque opened her design/ textile studio. She has had the pleasure to design, license, and produce products in a variety of categories including gift, stationery, apparel, fashion accessories, home textiles and decor for clients world wide.
